Do you remember what your daily life was like 5 years ago or 10 years ago? Time slips by so quickly and our lives and our tastes and our perspective changes with the years. I love to have albums that give a snapshot of my life for my own record but also to share with future generations. I did this project ten years ago, and it is so much fun to look back and see what I was doing and what was important to me at the time. In this album I’m documenting the most important parts of my life: my family, my faith, my friends, my work, and me - a snapshot of who I am today!
We’ll make our own albums that will hold 6x8” and 8x8” page protectors and product from the nostalgic Crate Paper Wonder collection and lots more goodies. You’ll be able to customize your cover with the many options in your kit - you can do yours just like mine or change the colors and the embellishments in the wood grid on the front. Inside our books, we’ll use a “formula” to give a cohesive look to all the sections of the book. You’ll be able to add your photos and memorabilia to your book at any time.
This is one of the favorite projects that I’ve ever done, and I’m so happy to share the ideas and techniques with you! You won’t be sorry that you took the time to document your life right now - it really helped me appreciate my life more - it becomes a gratitude journal, in a way!
The kit includes directions with color photos, but does not include stamps or punches that were shared in class.
